Matinee Idyll
"Matinee Idyll" was a single written by Phil Judd and Tim Finn and recorded by Split Enz in 1976 for the album Second Thoughts. The song also featured departed violinist Miles Golding, who'd left the band in 1973. The single was only released in Australia. The song is a re-recording of "129", a song that was previously a b-side to one of their earlier singles.
